Fairfax, VA - September 29, 2006 - 3001 International, Inc. ("3001"), the geospatial company, announced today it has completed the acquisition of LandAir Mapping, Inc. and Oasis Services, Inc. (together "LandAir"), a leading provider of aerial data acquisition, imagery analysis and processing, surveying, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), LIDAR capture, processing and mapping services to the government and commercial markets.

LandAir is a contract holder under US Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Information Program (NAIP). "It is exciting for 3001 to ally itself with the best of what the industry has to offer. The LandAir acquisition formalizes 3001’s commitment to offer its clients complete, quality end-to-end airborne acquisition and image processing solutions," said Bart Bailey, CEO of 3001.
Mr. Olive will continue to run 3001’s LandAir Mapping business unit, with combined assets of nearly a dozen sensors and an equal number of airplanes. "The economies we enjoy by joining forces will allow us to make use of an exciting set of resources to better serve our customers," said Tom Olive, LandAir’s President.
