Dr. Bersoff has worked with CMEP on various portfolio companies since 2002. Dr. Bersoff serves as a Director of ICF International, Inc. and 3001 International, Inc. Dr. Bersoff is also Chairman and CEO of ATS Corporation (OTCBB: ATCT).
Dr. Bersoff brings extensive merger and acquisition experience, and has a deep understanding of both the federal and information technology marketplaces.
He is the Chairman and founder of Greenwich Associates, a business advisory firm located in Northern Virginia. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Quarterdeck Investment Partners, LLC, a Los Angeles based investment bank.
In 1982, Dr. Bersoff founded BTG (NSDQ: BTGI), an information technology firm. While Dr. Bersoff was serving as Chairman and President of BTG, the company was ranked in the Inc. 500 list of fast-growing private companies for three years and the Washington Technology "Fast 50" for four years. In November 2001 BTG was acquired by the Titan Corporation, a NYSE-listed company, which elected Dr. Bersoff to its Board in February 2002.
From 1975 until 1982, he was employed by CTEC Inc. ("CTEC"), a provider of systems integration services, serving ultimately as President. Previously, he was employed by Logicon, Inc., a provider of advanced technology systems and services to national security, civil and industrial clients. Earlier, while on active duty in the United States Army, he was assigned to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Dr. Bersoff holds AB, MS, and PhD degrees in mathematics from New York University and is a graduate of Harvard Business School's Owner/President Management Program. Dr. Bersoff chairs the Board of Visitors of Virginia Commonwealth University, and serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of New York University. He is a distinguished professor at George Mason University.
