Mr. Burkett is Chairman of Innovative Art and Evans Consoles Corporation, both companies in which CMEP holds a minority investment.  Previously Mr. Burkett had been a long-standing advisor to CMEP.

Mr. Burkett, based in San Francisco, CA, serves as Special Advisor to the President of Takata Corporation, a $4 billion revenue supplier of automotive seat belt and airbag systems. Mr. Burkett is also Chairman of Specialty Finance Trust Ltd, a London and Rome based finance company providing funding to providers of services to the Italian public sector.

Previously, Mr. Burkett was President of Takata Fabrication Corp., Executive Vice President of Takata Inc. and Executive Vice Chairman of European Components Ltd., where he led turnarounds of Takata's European and US operations. Prior to Takata, he was with McKinsey & Company Inc. and The First Boston Corporation.
Mr. Burkett is a member of the Board of Directors of Innovative Art, Evans Consoles Corporation, Specialty Finance Trust Ltd., Ramgen Power Systems Inc., and Security Properties Inc.

Mr. Burkett received a Masters in Public and Private Management (MPPM) from the Yale School of Management, and a BA in Economics from Stanford University.
