Eileen O. Auen serves as a Director of ICF International, Inc. and is a recognized leader in the healthcare, workers’ compensation, and financial services industries with more than 20 years of experience in senior level positions.
Ms. Auen currently serves as chairman and chief executive officer of PMSI, one of the nation’s largest providers of specialty managed care services and products for the workers’ compensation and liability markets. Previous to joining PMSI, Ms. Auen served as head of healthcare management for Aetna, the nation’s third largest health insurance carrier. While at Aetna, she was responsible for managing more than $35 billion of healthcare spending, as well as the company’s network management, care management, and informatics organizations. Earlier in her career, she served as chief executive officer of APS Healthcare, Inc., a leading provider of specialty healthcare solutions for more than 1,000 clients in the public sector and commercial markets. Her work at APS culminated with the successful sale of the company to GTCR.
Past positions include president of Health Net of the Northeast, one of the largest insurers in the New York tri-state area serving 1.2 million members; president of CIGNA Healthcare’s Southeast Region, an organization serving 2.3 million members; and senior vice president of Intracorp, CIGNA's care management subsidiary.
Ms. Auen has served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Disease Management Association for America. She received an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia's Darden Graduate School of Business and Bachelor's degree in economics and finance from Towson University.
